God Damned Wilmington North Carolina. I've been trying to find a movie
here ever since I've been coming home but to no avail. Finally, I get a
little psyched up about Scream because since "Jen" is in Pennsylvania, I
can go see it (something about Neve Campbell... I should have never started
watching Party of Five cause I'll never hear the end of it...) alone.
One hour into the film, it's just "getting good" and the movie grinds to
a pomo halt. Neve is sitting in a bathroom stall and her face is frozen
on the screen, sorta broken between two frames. The film just sits there
for a few minutes and then her face begins to melt, slowly. finally, her
face is burned to a crisp and I just sit there for a few minutes,
watching as all my external lust for the next 65 years goes up in smoke.
All in all, I guess it's worth it. Well, ok, i know it is.
