What the hell does "poppy pop pop" mean? Anyway, Sebadoh and Pavement are
two of my favorite bands so I think I could give you some appealing options...

1.The Swirlies-"They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days..." This has got to be
the best fucking record of 1996. The Swirlies picked up where My Bloody
Valentine and Sonic Youth (back when they still rocked)left off. There are
even some traces of Pavement's "Westing..."

2.Versus-"Secret Swingers" fun and poppy yet terse and emotive. Every track
is a gem.

3.the Karl Hendricks Trio-"Misery and Women" Another Merge band, although
this particular album may not be on the label.

4.Komeda-"The Genius of Komeda" Very Stereolabesque but still good enough to
stand on its own.

5.Silver Jews-"The Natural Bridge" Here's your latest Pavement derivative.
DISCLAIMER- It's not as good as the first and it is lacking Stephen
Malkmus's involvement.

These were just off the top of my head. If you're interested in these
suggestions and want to know more about them, let me know and I'll provide
more info.
