unfortunately i find myself to be very unknowledgable about the local
music scene as compared to most of you who either a)work at any of the
college stations (and get free promos) or b)are in bands yourselves or
c)have enough $$ to buy
lots of stuff. one of my new year's resolutions (if i believed in making
new year's resolutions) is to learn more.
i have a great liking for live music so i spend a lot
of money on shows
and in turn rarely have enough to buy albums so my collection is very
small (also because i sell cds to get money and ALWAYS regret it later).
It turns out that half or so of the local music that i like is not
on record really (Bi-Qs, Two Dollar Pistols, The Starry Wisdom
Band) and
the other half has broken up or departed to another state or gone "big"
(June, Hellbender, Ben Folds Five, SNZ). No, I HAVEN'T heard the Polycarp
album, but i really want to. feel free to copy it for me.
then there's always the raymond brake if you wanna call them local...more
on that later.

favorite posts? i liked bo's quiz. but because i've lost my attention for
detail i can't elaborate any furthur.

jenn of course there's always Hot Fudge Free For All halter
