Hey, that place was the site of the first (and only) show for (the
original) Grinman, in which I played bass and Lee Misenheimer played
guitar. Solid groovecore before a crowd of, um, the other two bands.
Burley didn't even publicize the show (which was a shame since the other
two bands were from DC) and barely showed up in time to open the club. I
hear the new club out by Guilford College is really nice, though, and
Burley really is receptive to booking out of town bands.
