I would just like to add an AMEN to Nate's comments and point out that
the Record Bar is now another piece of Chapel Hill history.  I think the
very first Record Bar (ever) was originally located on Henderson
Street.  The Blazers' (featuring Shakin' Sherman as well as my my dad in
the late 70's) first album was called 'Store Bought' and the cover
showed a few dozen groovy Chapel Hillians (including my parents) posing
in the Franklin Street Rec Bar, which had lovely stained glass in the
windows and drug paraphernalia in the display case.

Those were the days!
