A tree fell in my next door neighbor's back yard. It's still there. Half
of the people who got caught up in the Fran mess spent more time making
the situation worse than it was. How about all of those people who had
blue tarps on the roof before the storm? How come the newspapers never
cover the people who need no help from storms to struggle in everyday
life. I guess the plight of local homeless/hungry isn't as important as
Butch Johnson who swam through a flooded basement in the dark to save his
drowning cat.
