Emrys, playing blues-influenced guitar-based rock with strong pop
sensibilities, believes that people outside the narrowly defined
"mainstream" of American culture (i.e. "Outsiders") are the -real
majority. Emrys uses its accessible rock-with-folk-roots sound to carry
an "Outsider" message in the lyrics. Emrys' CD, CIVIC STUDIES, released
in October, 1996, is available in most local record stores or through The
Creative Musicians Coalition (800/882-4262). Review copies of CIVIC
STUDIES are available to qualified press on request from Shaggy Sheepdog
