i'll play trumpet. it's not unusual for me to play trumpet. as long as i
don't have to wear anything sequined. or tight. this will probably rule me
out though. 
if i had a stand-up bass, or knew where to get one for free, i'd play
stand-up bass in a western swing band. but i don't, so i won't. 
i wish i could croon though. if you can croon, you can go places. the rest
of us just dream.

i'll go see the people v. larry flynt, even though i know i probably will
completely disagree with the politics of it, if only to know what it is. i
can't demonize it until i've experienced it. i can't denounce the enemy i
don't know.

curtail=censor.rick mackinnon. just kidding. i'd agree 'cept that i don't
know who i'd want to make the decisions about what's getting curtailed.
i'd rather have it all there so that i can make the decision than let
someone make the decision for me.

but who makes the decision for the centerfold, ultimately? there's the
rub.catch-22, eh?
