What was it that made you think there's no interest in music here? Why
do you think we have a damn newgroup for it? Just as people on this
group might need a little nudging to get out and see other kinds of
music than they may be used to seeing (like folk and reggae), I think
those who are new to the group might benefit from some investigation of
Chapel Hill music.
That would be hard, of course, if you don't live here, which you seem
not to. Which brings me to another question: why are you reading this
group? (With apparently no interest in or knowledge of music being made
in Chapel Hill.)
Which brings me to yet another question: what is with all the goddamn
spam lately? I'd be glad to switch this group back to mail only. I'd
read mail now, but it seems like I'd still miss lots of posts and I
haven't got time to read mail AND news. Ga-ack.

I can't tell if you really don't get that we can only answer such a
silly question with a joke or if you are joking back. Please clairify
(and possibly increase) your humor quotient.
