True, true. Not a lot of *good* reggae bands these days... too many are 
caught up in the "stylee" of dreading their hair, smoking a j, learning 2 
chords and 4 Bob Marley songs and viola! another reggae band! I've been 
promoting reggae music since the late 80's and am sad that many newcomers 
to reggae think they are hearing "real" reggae music, but they're not. 
It's the same with new ska bands, which are playing a derivative style of 
true ska, but once again, ain't the real thing. All these "new" bands are 
also ruining the touring scene for the professionals - running around to 
the same clubs every nite for a dollar. The whole scene is a mess...
