i know the safety of ambiguity. i wish at times the allure of graphic
artistry hadn't been beaten out of me in a succession of saturday mornings
at the tender age of 7, for the graphic arts _say_ nothing (that is, they
do not speak words, are not lingual [lingual is the term dentists apply to
the _in_side of the teeth. it means, loosely, "of the tongue." {note: the
period is inside the quotation marks. we are, actually, nearly out of the
20th century, so i feel secure with that.} from the latin, lingua; as
the root, also, of linguistics, linguine, cunnilingus and language {blame
those damned normans for the vowel-shift in that last one.}]).

how's that for ambiguity?

and how's my punctuation?

after staying in for some time, i've been out for four of the past six
nights. mondy, trailer bride; wed, geezer lake, et al.; thurs, ziggy;
tonight, bi-q's. trailer bride reminded me of what i felt the first show
of june with john howie, and one, particular rubbermaid show, and also one
(any one) of those early squirrel nut zippers appearances, or metal flake
mother at la terraza. on geezer lake i've already commented (competent,
but inopportunely opportunistic.). ziggy was very much as sarah, my better
half, said, though i will say that i'm certain that the bad mic made the
bass-guy sound less than the center-stage guy. [i think i now understand
why some of us pay big $$ for "tribute bands." i was awash in nostalgia.]

how's my punctuation, now?

(query, is slint the missing-link between albini and mcentire?)

-r (and, my ambiguity?) i
