	That's "Actionville" to you, bud!

But beyond the fact that since he is a journalist, this Ridley
guy, and he should have done his research and known about Adams'
upbringing before he passed judgment on it, I'd say that we shouldn't do
the same thing to him. He may be a journalist who has climbed some sort
of social ladder, and is obsessed with some sense of cultural sincerity
vs. poseurhood. I mean, yes, the article was silly and offensive, but we
shouldn't make the same mistakes he does.
Being half a generation away from white-trash myself, not to
mention growing up in oh so crappy Jacksonville, I'm waiting for that day
I find myself in a country band.
Which reminds me of about my first post to this group. There was
a discussion on our first musical memories, a discussion which eventually
grew into one on our first socio-historical memory, which inturn, in
complete alt.music.chapel-hill style became a discussion on our favorite
old video games, both atari, comodore, intelevision, and arcade versions;
anyway, I commented that I was raised on my dad's Willie Nelson albums,
and how only then was a finally appreciating this fact. The first to
respond to this was Ross, and he told me to thank the powers that be
for being so lucky. True that. And I do.
So how did Trailer Bride's performance at Captured Live compare to
their other shows of late? I was impressed, and had a fine time bobbing
to the tunes.

Thank you C. Riser and R. Grady for the musical discussion.
While, I definitely do not support the on topic factions of this news
group, I do like to hear some music discussion. Of course I pretty much
ignored all those posts on reggae bands, and so maybe there has been
discussion, but for some reason that felt unnatural??? Anyway...
