State College must have the worst music scene in the history of music
scenes.  In my eons there (was it just two years, it seemed much longer) I
never once heard of a local band that actually played original material.  I
did see one last year during a visit, a band of yungins called Short Cake,
that showed some promise.  So many cover bands, and worst of all TRIBUTE
bands.  Tribute bands to bands that were still around and relatively new
(Queensryche, GNR, etc.)

And the facist...don't let me start with the facist...and all the frat
boys, so many frats they had to start using four letters...

And not a single case of cattle mutilation while I was there...
