Bam. That's the one. Centralia, where smokestacks driven into the ground

encroachment on their land. Best factoid of all is that the fire started
after some garbage in a dump lit a vein of coal.

Oh, and re: Ross's last post. That's the truth, Ruth. The local editorial
staff is fighting for a different way of publishing, but I'm starting to
feel like a Persian duped onto the Marathon plains with promises of a BC GI
Bill.
