OK, I'll bite.

Last I heard of Geezer Lake was at the L&S, where they were loud (duh), so
loud that an earplug actually shook loose. Yeesh. The Geezers belch out a
brutal roar that can collapse into gentle melody at the drop of a hat, an
incredibly catchy clattering of a factory falling apart. Think a feral Zorn
driving a buick headlong into Tommy Iommi and the cast of Alice Donut.

For all that, the band still says it best: "Jammin' psycho-subliminal
mind-fuck avant pig music."

The first album is the best "Working at the Computer" CD ever. It took a
year to catch on, but I now keep it handy.

Plus they're just the nicest fellows.

The 25th of February. Be there or be rhomboidal.

Hey, does anyone know if the Marsha that's scheduled to play Local 506 on
the 24th is Joe Romweber et al? Just curious.
