Thanks for the advice about Duke Coffeehouse and Captured Live - I'll
give them a try.
I used to play at Ravena's until they decided they only wanted nice,
background dinner music - the last time I ate dinner there they had a
violinist playing the entire score to *The Sound of Music*. (sigh)
A friend of mine is good friends with Eight Eyes and I met them one time
we both had shows the same night in Greensboro - nice guys. Have their
Jewel CD.
Where is artomatic - I've been hearing good stuff about that place.
Unfortunately, will be out of town that weekend. Since I work at the
Guv'ment I get that Monday off and I'm heading to the mountains.
I can make you a tape of Chaotic Arts Ensemble - you can either give me
a blank tape to use or chip in a buck or two, whatever. Either drop it
by the homestead or mail to P.O. Box 16124, Chapel Hill, NC 27516-6124.
If you'll be at the Songwriter's Alliance show, I can give it to you
then.
