ok, my mind is terribly blank on this, but there was this scott davison
project
a long time ago, this insanely funny band, and the name for it was -dog-
related,
i believe. it wasn't the k-mart hot dogs and it wasn't taylor the spotted
mutt, it
was something else. what was that name?

indeed. this sounds like one of those for-old-farts-only kinda thingies.

i'll probably care enough to drive to g'boro and see this. well, at least
that's
my intention, faux though it may be. time, money, car health.

it's definitely opera season. that time of year when there's suddenly so
many
-events- to do.

sumpin i been meaning to ask, though, without taking offense, if
possible...
just who is it that writes all the hilariously inane press quotes used as
references
for a fair measure of songwriter alliance participants? seems like there's
always
some overarching comparion to a beatle or a travelling wilbury embedded in
these testimonials. is it just me? or is it just people from my generation
who
got into music because they wanted to -be- a beatle?

i've been seeing references for days now to something todd wrote about
something going on at lump that sounds fascinating, but i have yet to see
todd's post. also
other crazy net stuff, suddenly posts to news that show up in mail have the
newsserver bang path instead of the posters address in the from: field
making it
impossible to tell who sent the post unless the poster signs the post.
(some post
signed "todd" but with no "morman" or interleaving pithy slogan showed up
seeming
to ask if ross was gonna hire a full time staff to make the amch website
limitlessly
usuable). and finally, my newsserver seems to have been disconnected from
my
mailserver (security exposure, they say) so i can no longer cc: news posts
to the
list. i'm sure this net was awful sexy at one time but its boobs are sure
sagging
now.

speaking of which, don't do this: lose weight, gain weight, lose weight,
gain weight.
you'll feel shitty and it's not good for you.
