xyc began airing pacifica, largely due to Kirsh's efforts in Nov. 1991
(give or take a month).

Well, there *was* a reason I put "listener support" in quotes.  To be
honest, most of the funds that Kirsh brought in *were* from listeners,
circa 1991-92.  If Fran and Zoeys was involved in funding Pacifica, it was
probably after Kirsh stopped his fundraising efforts.
