Only recently did I listen to Ziggy Stardust, but my memories of it were
fully enhanced by the set Rebar did last night. They played the album
somewhat out of order, but their covers of the most immeadiately
recognizable (to me anyway) songs, Moonage Daydream, Starman, Rock 'n Roll
Suicide, were great. Rebar have always switched around during their sets,
I guess, which I didn't like last night. Their first lineup worked the
best, but I can't remember the singer/guitarist's name. He later switched
to drums while the second guitarist sang. This was problematic as either
his mike wasn't working, or he wasn't loud enough, or I didn't like his
voice as much. Eventually, the first singer switched back, and all was
right with the set. It was a great show, a good time however little
dancing there was. That guy, that singer/ guitarist guy is amazing.

Looking forward to seeing both Trailerr Bri and Whiskey Town tonight, with
a band that , from the picture in the Independent, is made up by this
former punk from Raleigh named Allison who almost joined the Navy (that
would be the band Poor Valentine).
